We are happy to associate with Worldex India to organize a group pavilion of 15 Indian companies at the 2023 Intex Bangladesh. The PDEXCIL Pavilion will showcase a variety of textile products such as cotton yarns, knitted fabrics, clothing labels, seal tags, institutional fabrics and made-ups, online B2B services, and solutions for the textiles and apparel industry across Bangladesh. We believe Intex South Asia will assist and boost the bilateral trade and investments between both countries in the growing and developing textiles and apparel industry.

We are manufacturer high-tech bonding machines for domestic and export markets. I have been in the Bangladesh as well and this is 1st time we are showcasing in Sri Lanka. It’s been a good experience connecting with industry buyers at InMac. Overall, it’s a well organised show.

We at Danitech are one of the largest dyeing machines manufacturers from Italy. This is our first exhibition in Sri Lanka, so this is also a new experience for us. We really got good response here at InMac. We are quite happy and quite surprised, honestly, because there was a good crowd. Many contacts made here new customers as well as existing customers. We feel that there is a positive hope in Sri Lankan customers in the future.

We have taken part in this exhibition third time and we have some quality enquires and the participation has been good. We have contacted with some big companies. In InMac showcase at Intex, I saw this new combination of textiles and machinery. I also see some new machinery as well which is good. Overall it’s been a satisfying experience.

It’s a good opportunity that we have participated under InMac Showcase @ Intex exhibition. We first participated last year and the response was good. Hence, we decided to go ahead with two stalls this year. We see the industries coming and huge opportunity for us as well. And for all these suppliers who are here in Sri Lanka, it is an opportunity to the entire customer base here. Only machinery show is good, but here we have everything under one roof, which will give more opportunities to the buyers.

I am delighted to learn that Worldex India is organising the 11th Intex Bangladesh Edition in Dhaka. I appreciate the efforts taken by Worldex India in bringing international manufacturers and suppliers to Bangladesh to explore business and market opportunities in the textiles and apparel industry of Bangladesh. As Bangladesh looks to constantly upgrade its offerings as well as look to build its global market share in traditional cotton apparel as well as MMF product range, we look forward to hosting such international trade exhibitions in the country which assists the industry to move forward as a whole.

Congratulations to the organiser of Intex - The Premier International Textile Sourcing Show, 2023. As the apex trade body representing the RMG sector of Bangladesh, BGMEA joyously associates with Worldex India, which is the strategic partner of Intex Bangladesh. There are significant value chain linkages between India and Bangladesh, particularly in the textile and apparel sector and I believe we can collaborate in this segment more in the coming days. Exhibition like this will create a unique opportunity to gather all parts of the global supply chain under one single umbrella, where there will be knowledge sharing and innovative learning.
